My Top products for blonde hair

My Top products for blonde hair

Bright clean blonde hair is amazing but as a blonde lets be honest it can be a pain to maintain.

There are many elements such as Water, pollution and the sun can turn our locks brassy. Over styling can cause hair to be dry and more prone to breakage.

Over the years I have put together a few tips to help prolong my freshly toned locks.

Finding Your Blonde

Choose a professional hair colour stylist. Going to a Top class salon to get your highlights done is essential. Blonde hair is the hardest colour to get correct so its important to find a qualified colourist.

Making your colour last

I found the key to preserve my illuminating toned hair and it may sound bizarre but wash your hair less. ( your hair not your daily showers obviously  ). I know it sounds disgusting but I trained my hair to not get greasy. OK at this point you’re thinking what is she on about but it works believe me.  I found over the last year or so that every time I got my colour done it wasn’t lasting as it should. I was washing my hair every second to 3rd day so I started leaving it an extra day every week. I am now only wash my hair every 5-7 days. I found that the condition of my hair also dramatically improved it was amazing.

Choosing the correct shampoos and conditioners

As a blonde ,look for formulas that are designed to maintain and protect your colour, opt for a sulphate free formula if you have dry scalp. To keep the tone of your hair and to stop brassiness opt for a purple or silver shampoo.

Bride of the month

Bride of the month

Hope you are all having a lovely week. I’m back to show you again my bride of the month. I love doing bridal makeups its so different than regular day to day makeups, its much more personal.

I find as a makeup artist you really get to know the bride as a person, which I love. It is very important as I need to create a makeup style to suit their personality. A brides day is the most important day of their life so its so awarding to enjoy the moment with them.

Tina was a spring 2016 bride, I know this seems like a lifetime ago now as the months have just flew this year. Where has the time gone?. I always wait for brides to send me professional photos of the day to post up a blog ,as it lets me show you the special moments of the day.

Tina was the nicest person ever and so calm.

Her makeup was Glowing and flawless. Look at that highlight.

Foundation was Mac Studio fix fluid and Nars radiant creamy concealer.

The eyes were all Matte tones with lashes and smoked in the waterline to add definition.

Smile Bright like a diamond

Smile Bright like a diamond

Hey guys so I said I would give you a quick update on my invisalyn Treatment so far. I have had my invisalyns on 6 months so far. I’m currently on set 15, in total I have 27 sets. It’s gone so quick I cant believe it. Since my last blog update  the routine has become a lot easier. I don’t even notice I am wearing them, if anything I actually feel strange without them in. I don’t experience any pain anymore, slight pressure when I change to a new set but only for a few hours.

As it’s a gradual movement of teeth I didn’t notice much of a change as I’m looking at my teeth everyday. In the past month so many people have commented on my teeth saying how amazing they have changed

I took pictures of each set when I changed them.  I looked back  today and I’m stocked.  I did not think my teeth were so bad, I’m actually so embarrassed. So be prepared to see.

I said I would share this experience with you. I get so many questions about them on my Snapchat asking how I find them and are they worth it.  I am so happy I got them and they are invisible which is a bonus. I still have 12 sets left so I can’t wait to see the difference from now till then. Check out my previous blog on invisalyn here Invisalgn my experience

Enjoy the weekend
